The main purpose of Nathan and Oscar’s trip was to find/Discover where their ancestors were from so they did a DNA test and sent it to Oxford where they would get evidence. Nathan and Oscar travelled on a Takitumu to different Islands to discover where they came from and what behind their stories and they couldn’t wait to see their families and to know more about them. When they went to Taiwan it was their first time tasting something called Betel Nut is something that you chew and it can sometimes affect your teeth because it hard, but when you are done chewing it you spit it out. In Taiwan Betel nut is their tradition because they have been doing it for 2,000 years.When they travelled to Samoa where Oscar comes from it was time for Oscar to show his mum the DNA Test after Nathan and Oscar went to church together with Oscar’s mother.
From my point of view I think that Nathan and Oscars trip was successful they had laugher,fun, enjoyment and they also found out facts as they went along each and every country that they travelled too.
